Greece slips further in FIFA Rankings, now 20th overall

Despite drawing World Champions Italy last month, the latest edition of the FIFA Coca-Cola World Rankings, which were released on Wednesday, saw Greece slip two spots to 20th. Greece’s recent victories over Luxembourg and Latvia were reflected on the monthly FIFA World Rankings by rising one spot to seventeenth. Greece, who sat eighth ahead of EURO 2008, was in a free fall ever since their poor showing at the quadrennial continental championships.
