Time has run out on 2008, and we at the Greece Blog here at www.worldcupblog.org, would like to wish all of you a Happy New Year to you and yours.

2008 brought us plenty of great football stories, but despite the calendar changing, the action won’t stop. 2009 is expected to be even better, and Chris Paraskevas and I are dedicated to keeping you all up to date with news from the pirate ship known as the Greek National Team.
